Daughter Plays Hysterical Prank On Her Mother Following Surgery
They say laughter is the best medicine and for this family, they know how to make each other laugh.
The video begins when a young woman walks into her mom’s hospital room after she had wrist surgery. The daughter holds up her hands and you can see that her left hand is now a plastic baby hand. The one you often see in social media videos.
Her mom looks at the hand in bewilderment as the daughter tells her mom that they “couldn’t save yours so I gave them mine.”
The daughter goes on to say that she can still read the Bible, cheer at games, and assures her mom that is she going to be okay. Later on, she talks about how she can still text on her phone. This whole time she is trying hard not to laugh and spoil the prank, turning her head many times to hide her face.
Her mom tells her she is sorry a few times still trying to figure out how this could have happened. The mom then asks, “Why is it so little?” referring to the baby hand. She is told that it was the best they could do.
We all know how humor can be exactly what you might need in situations like this. As the video wraps up it moves to the car where the mom is laughing hysterically about the prank. She holds up a baby hand and high five’s another baby hand.
You can tell this family loves to have fun together and bring each other joy. Although we don’t get to see the reveal of the joke, the mom’s laughter at the end tells you she enjoyed the whole thing.
Laughter is a huge part of life and is even mentioned in the Bible. And it is always good for your heart.
“A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance” - Ecclesiastes 3:4

A Prayer to Discover Childlike Faith - Your Daily Prayer - October 11
What does it mean to have childlike faith to become like little children in the kingdom of God? How do we achieve it? What steps do we need to take to walk in it? As adults, how do we move past all the voices that have been telling us throughout our lives that we need to “grow up” and “stop behaving like a child”?
