16-Year-Old Sings Enchanting ‘Beauty And The Beast’ Cover
The Walt Disney Company is responsible for some of the most iconic films ever made and several classic songs. One young woman took a stab at and covered a legendary song from a beloved Disney film.
Mia Black, a 16-year-old singer from Ireland, and Boyce Avenue performed the title track to the Disney animated classic film, “Beauty and the Beast.” Tackling a song originally sung by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson is a tall task, but from the opening notes of the song, it’s clear that both musicians are up for the challenge.
Mia provides the lead vocals as Boyce sings and plays the piano in the video. The young woman sounds terrific as she belts out the lyrics to the beloved love song from the Disney film.
Honestly, it is unbelievable how much Mia does sound like Celine.
Most of the time, when someone does a cover of a song, you’ll be left longing for the original version, constantly judging it up against the other one, but that is not the case with this rendition of the song “Beauty and the Beast.”
It's hard to believe that Mia is just 16 years old, given how spectacular she sounds on this song!
Additionally, not only do Mia and Boyce sound great separately, but they also blend their voices beautifully.
While listening to Mia and Boyce’s cover, it’s hard not to be transported back to the film as scenes from the Disney animated classic play in your head.
Others also agree that Mia and Boyce knocked their cover performance out of the park!
“Mia this is one stunning performance your voice comes through so perfect, your voice is as always perfection and hearing you two singing together is outstanding. Ya’ll are simply amazing,” one person wrote.
“Beautiful duet. Such a beautiful voice Mia, thank you for sharing it with us,” a second person added.
Psalms 57:7 “My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.”
