'On A Wing And A Prayer' Dennis Quaid Film Based On Miraculous True Story

Buckle up and take an incredible journey with the movie, ‘On A Wing And A Prayer’ Dennis Quaid film, which is based on a miraculous true story.

In this harrowing true story of faith, passenger Doug White (played by Dennis Quaid) sets out on what seems like a routine flight to fly home from a funeral with his family. During the flight, the pilot unexpectedly dies mid-flight. Doug has to figure out how to fly the plane and land it safely.

Stars in this feature film also include Heather Graham and Jesse Metcalfe, and Sean McNamara is the cast’s director. The script was written by Brian Egeston (House of Payne).

This faith-based, action-packed film is set to release on April 7th-Easter morning on Prime video. Together, we can watch from the comfort of our own homes and share the experience with our families. Having faith and practicing faith is often the biggest hurdle we face as Christians. I’m not sure I want my faith to be tested by having my pilot pass away while flying home.

The film is based on a series of true events that took place in 2009 when Doug White and his family were returning home from a funeral in Marco Island. Their pilot Joe Cabuk suddenly died of a heart attack. Doug had logged 150 hours of flying a single-engine plane, but he had never flown a King Airplane, nor had he ever flown over 7,000 feet.

On A Wing And A Prayer is being promoted as a story of ‘faith and survival,’ and it comes on the heels of Christians demanding faith-based stories. Buckle up and great ready to soar in this adventure film.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths,” Proverbs 3:5-6.
