Proud Mama Gorilla Shows Off Her Baby To Zoo Visitors

It is intriguing to watch God’s creatures and learn about their behaviors. In this adorable video, a proud mama gorilla shows off her baby to zoo visitors.

At the start of the video, the mama gorilla pulls her cute baby in front of the glass. She holds onto the baby’s two little arms, and the crowd is in awe. This is such a rare and special moment.

The mama gorilla is holding her sweet baby, and a woman says, “Thank you for showing us.” Suddenly, the mom gorilla holds her baby and kisses her baby on the head. She holds the baby in her arms so lovingly.

It is a precious moment. Then the gorilla kisses her young again. We hear an onlooker say, “absolutely amazing,” as the camera zooms out, and we see sweet children watching the show as the mom gives her baby such love and care.

This incredible moment was captured at the Calgary Zoo. It is a special scene where a mother and her baby connect in front of a crowd. This is not something that everyone can see and has quite an impact on those viewing.

The sweet and tender care for the baby is moving.

As we are in awe of this precious moment caught on video, may it point us to our great Creator. He gives us moments to glimpse at his glory. He has so perfectly made all things and given special roles of father and mother to newborns. Nature proclaims the glory of the Lord.

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” Job 12:7-10

A Prayer for Generosity toward Those in Need during Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 8

When we look at all that God has given us despite what we have done to him, it humbles us. It makes us want to give generously because he gave everything for us.
