'Does He Love You' Reba McEntire And Dolly Parton Duet
Reba McEntire has been a staple in the country music world for decades. With hits such as ‘Fancy’ and ‘I’m A Survivor,’ Reba has truly earned her name as the ‘Queen Of Country Music.’ Her classic songs and upbeat personality led to millions of fans all across the globe and there’s no sign of slowing down.
Recently, Reba felt it was time to look back on some of her songs and give them a modern update. ‘Revived Remixed Revisited’ features a full band re-recording, dance mixes and a fresh look on our favorites.
One of the most highly anticipated tracks is ‘Does He Love You’ which features a duet with Dolly Parton. The original track was released in 1993 and showcased the vocals of Linda Davis.
Now, we’re hearing these lyrics in a whole new way with the addition of the legendary Dolly Parton.
“But does he love you (Does he love you)
Like he loves me? (Like he loves me?)
Does he think of you (Does he think of you)
When he's holding me?”
Even though they have been friends for decades, Reba and Dolly never recorded a song together. Reba told Billboard Magazine, “Every time I’d hear Dolly doing a duet with somebody else, I would get a little sad or a little jealous, like, “I want to do a duet with Dolly.” Everything happens for a reason and timing is everything. So it worked out perfectly.”
‘Revived Remixed Revisited’ is available for purchase and it’s sure to be the perfect addition to your country collection.
