Things are in disarray. And in such times, we grab onto our "piece of the pie" and stake our claim to some small bit of turf. We get caught up in the propaganda that seems to accelerate the confusion, causing us to turn 'on' each other instead of turning 'to' each other. It seems that it's time that we set aside these small agendas and gather in defense of greater things. It's time to recognize what's important and what is not. It's time to turn a deaf ear to those who would propagate division, and reach across the lines painted by a culture that often seems bent on its own destruction. It is time to "own our stuff," and realize that what we need to own is our commitment to one another. It is time.
