Julia Hawkins is her name and she is 105 years old, living in Louisiana. She shares that she “does many other wonderful things and this is just a drop in the bucket.” Her run was 63 seconds. She says that she “could not imagine being this old and without him, it is not the same. It’s not quite as wonderful.” Julia runs and gardens to keep herself busy. She tells of the touching story of her husband passing away in his sleep after he sang love songs to her.
