Woman's Stunning Voice Earns Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer on AGT
One woman’s stunning voice wowed the studio audience and the judges, earning her Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent.
Most people seek an opportunity to show others their God-given talent. When that does happen, and individuals who have been overlooked are afforded that moment and that chance, what happens is often pretty shocking.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Liv Warfield takes the stage and, in a back-and-forth with the judges, states that she can and does sing a little bit of everything. She also reveals that she has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music, including the late Prince.
For her audition, Liv, the longtime singer who refuses to give up, performed an original of hers, “Stare.” Liv’s performance is absolutely stunning, and it’s safe to say that she won many people in the audience, including Simon, over within the song's first few notes. The camera catches Simon mouthing the word, “Wow.”
Liv came out swinging, showcasing her compelling and unique voice. As she mentioned in her introductory remarks, Liv is a pro and fully demonstrated that to be true. Not only can she sing like few others can, but she also owns the stage. She was right at home in front of the crowd and the judges.
After performing her audition, she received a prolonged standing ovation, which included all four judges. In his remarks, Simon mentioned that his biggest problem with her audition was that it didn’t last longer.
Eventually, Simon admitted that as much as he may have wanted to, he couldn’t give her a yes. Instead, he reached over and slammed the Golden Buzzer, sending confetti falling from the ceiling to the floor.
That was a Golden Buzzer-worthy performance if we’ve ever seen one.
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
