Groom Cries During 'Stand By Me' Wedding Flash Mob
Rachel and Shane McNally were at the altar, about to tie the knot, when their friend stood up in the pew. That’s when Hannah O’Brien started to belt out the words to the iconic Ben E. King song ‘Stand By Me.’
“When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we'll see
No I won't be afraid, no I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
So darlin', darlin', stand by me, oh stand by me
Oh stand by me, stand by me”
One by one, more guests started to stand up and join in on the performance. There were people from both the groom’s side and the bride’s side of the family singing this beautiful tune.
The bride’s father even added his voice to the mix. As the camera pans to Rachel and Shane, they are visibly emotional over the surprise scene.
Their friend, Hannah, had been preparing this special flash mob for a while and it all came together perfectly. She even coordinated with the videographer so that the entire moment would be captured on camera for the couple.
It was truly a beautiful moment to witness and I’m sure it was even better in person. With friends and family like this, Rachel and Shane already have a great start in their life together.

Today's Devotional
A Prayer to Long for Heaven - Your Daily Prayer - July 18
Do you look forward to heaven? If I am being honest, my heart can be so focused on the now and building my “earthly kingdom” that I often miss the joy of focusing my thoughts and heart on eternal joys.
