There is something truly moving about a group of musicians in a room laying their hearts out in worship! We love any opportunity to worship our God.

The worship group “Housefires”, featuring Pat Barrett, released this moving video of their recording “The Way (New Horizon)”. Based in Atlanta GA, the group shares on their website the desire for their songs of worship to become commonplace in every home as a connecting point with God. Hoping to reconnect with the root of the New Testament church, house churches offer an smaller group study and conversational connection with faith. The band’s name was birthed out this movement of house churches and the idea of a spiritual movement happening all over throughout houses in the world.

What a beautiful reminder that God is with us! As so many in the world are facing hardships and fears, when we turn to the presence of a Holy God, those worries seem so small. It is true that when we lift our hearts in worship, those burdens fall away at the feet of the Healer, Provider, and Protector!
