The words of our biological fathers can uplift us, or wound us deeply. For those of us with father wounds, we usually wrestle with deeply hurtful words or an absence of affirmation. This is why it is essential that we look to our Father for affirmation. For every woman who has felt unseen or invisible or unaffirmed by their biological father, God says over and over in his Word: I affirm you.

Scripture Referenced:
Psalm 139

Kia Stephens is a wife and homeschooling mom of two who is passionate about encouraging the hearts of women.
