Our mission is to wrap neighbors in home-spun blessings of love & hope through the simple gift of a hand-knotted blanket. To share the message that, through Christ, we are connected by grace, yet free to choose our own way. Tied, but never attached.
Fleece for the Flock welcomes all would-be Blanket Angels to:
There is something everyone can do no matter your age, talent.
Make and Donate fleece blankets, scarves and wraps.
Donate fleece fabric directly to the Fleece for the Flock group and allow volunteers to create coverings for you.
Fleece for the Flock is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization supported by friends like you who want to reach out to people around the world. We are grateful for those who support this work through generous gifts, both large and small. There is so much to be done. Every dollar you donate will help ensure that we may continue to make wrap neighbors in these home-spun blessings.
Host a Flock party – get your family or group of friends, Sunday School class or Bible study group together and see how many fleece items you can create in an afternoon or evening.
Volunteer to make the blankets, wraps and scarves from fabric donated by others.
Pray – No matter the way you choose to contribute, please remember to pray, pray pray for all stages of this project.
Pray for the recipients of each gift, the volunteers who donate time and fabric and don’t forget those baring witness to it all . We wont know all their names or needs but God does. We covet your prayers. Agree with us
Creating these fleece items are so easy a small child can do it. Even so not everyone has the time or inclination to actually make a blanket- and you don’t have to. Feel free to donate fleece or dollars so that others may tie knots for you.
Either way you are helping in a BIG way!
