Kitten Scrunches And Air Biscuits

Feb 13 2026
My friend and I were exploring her property. On it was an abandoned RV that had been sitting stationary for years. It was overgrown and broken on the inside, it didn’t seem like anything could possibly be living in there. I peaked my head through a broken window and low and behold this tiny little black and white kitten appeared! We ended up catching all 3 kittens. The next week, we made efforts and successfully captured both of the parents, who were fixed and released shortly after. I fostered all 3 kittens for over and month until all were eventually spayed, neutered, and vaccinated. Credit: Natalie D Laidacker

Train Your Brain to Stop Overthinking

Jun 26 2026
What if overthinking isn’t a thinking problem at all? The brain stays in the overthinking cycle when it feels unsafe, not when it lacks answers. Breaking the cycle is not about forcing control, it is about creating a sense of safety. Neuroscience shows your brain can only rest when it no longer feels the need to stay on alert. That is why gentleness matters more than pressure. The goal is not mental control, but relational safety. When you slow your thoughts, sit with Scripture, and allow silence, you are signaling to your brain that vigilance is no longer required. You are reminding your mind that God is present and attentive. Over time, these rhythms begin to retrain your brain. The overthinking cycle weakens, and new pathways form, ones marked by calm awareness and trust in God.
