Strife doesn’t just cause conflict. It rewires your brain for stress.
When your mind stays in a state of tension, your brain floods your body with cortisol and adrenaline. Over time, this can lead to sleep issues, anxiety, depression, and a weakened immune system. Scripture warned us long ago that strife brings confusion and opens the door to destruction (James 3:16).
But peace isn’t just a feeling. It’s a healing state of mind, body, and spirit. Peace is a gift He freely gives, but we must be willing to let go of the strife that weighs us down.
