One Person Can Change a Nation

Jun 16 2026
One Person Can Change a Nation. In one of the darkest moments in Israel’s history, God raised up Elijah—an unknown man with a fully committed heart—to confront a corrupt king and call a nation back to Himself. In this episode, we watch God provide in miraculous ways, revive the dead, expose false gods, and show that He doesn’t need a majority to act—just one person who will trust Him completely. 5 Faith and Brain Science Aligned Ways to Quiet Worry

Jun 14 2026
Worry Does Not Solve Problems. It Steals Peace. Worry often feels productive because our minds keep turning the problem over and over, searching for a solution. But from a neuroscience perspective, that mental loop is called rumination. Instead of helping us solve the issue, rumination keeps the brain’s threat system activated. The amygdala stays on alert, stress hormones rise, and our ability to think clearly becomes weaker. Jesus spoke directly to this long before neuroscience explained it. “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” (Matthew 6:27). Worry does not change our circumstances, but it does drain our strength, steal our focus, and slowly erode our trust in God’s provision. This is why Scripture repeatedly invites us to redirect our thinking. When we pause to pray, refocus on truth, and surrender what we cannot control, we interrupt the brain’s cycle of rumination and begin calming the nervous system. Faith is not denial of difficulty. It is the choice to anchor our thoughts in God’s character and promises instead of letting fear dictate the story. Replacing worry with truth is not something we do once. It is something we practice. Each time anxious thoughts appear, we have the opportunity to bring them to God again and choose trust over fear. If worry has been weighing on you lately, remember that you are not meant to carry those burdens alone. God invites you to place them in the hands of the One who holds the whole world, and your life, in perfect care.
