POV: The White Elephant budget was $0

We all work together at a salon called Oliver and Company in Gainesville, GA. For our work party, we played White Elephant with a “regift” theme — meaning spend $0. I’ve had a couple of traffic cones sitting in my garage for years and wanted them gone, so I wrapped those up (don’t worry, they’re not stolen). Everyone was completely caught off guard and thought it was hilarious. Credit: Lauren Remillard @laurenhremillard

Job 1:1 - 2:10 As we turn the final page of Genesis, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment in our journey through Scripture. We've witnessed the grand narrative of creation, the fall of humanity, and God's relentless pursuit to redeem a people for Himself. Now, we step into a new chapter - the book of Job - that will challenge our understanding of faith, suffering, and the very nature of God Himself.

From Hail to Locusts: Crisis That Built Faith

Mar 01 2026
What causes one person to grow stronger in faith while another becomes more resistant to God? In this episode, Sammy Tippit explores the deep contrast between Moses and Pharaoh. As the plagues of hail and locusts strike Egypt, Moses grows in confidence and obedience, while Pharaoh hardens his heart even more. Through their stories, we see how our choices shape our hearts, our character, and our future. God’s power, justice, and mercy are on full display—revealing that every moment of obedience builds strength, and every act of resistance deepens hardness.
