GodTube Mad Libs

Remember doing Mad Libs as a kid? Well, we’re creating our own Mad Lib, featuring comedian Bob Smiley. Just send us a video of yourself saying any of the types of words below. You can send in one word or several. Then we will plug YOUR words and video into OUR video story.

The title of this Mad Libs is “Late for Church.” Here are the words we need:

An exclamatory phrase, a verb, a verb ending in “ing,” an occupation, a verb ending in “ed,” a noun, a room in a house, an object, a food, a drink, a location, a body part (keep it clean people), an adjective, an object of clothing, a mode of transportation, a singer, a song title, a day of the week, a number and a type of Iphone App.

About 30 Days of GodTube.com

With a new look GodTube.com, recently purchased by Salem Communications Corporation, is getting back to its roots of being the widely poular video-sharing website with Christian, family-friendly content.

To garner awareness, educate users and further promote its unique features, GodTube.com will be kicking off a month-long campaign "30 Days of GodTube" in May featuring special promotions and virtual scavenger hunt. Log in each day to participate!

 

1. How to Enter: No Purchase Necessary. Void where prohibited. Each participant can only win up to three times through the duration of the contest. Only one entry per person each day is permitted. All entrants must be 18 or if under 18 must have the consent of a legal guardian.

The contest provides Entrants with the opportunity to participate in a Virtual Scavenger Hunt. Entrants must create a GodTube.com account to play and must include: full name and email address. Entrants must also agree to GodTube.com’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Any comment that is considered by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion to be obscene, pornographic, libelous, hate speech or otherwise objectionable, in whole or in part, will be disqualified, will not be eligible for entry and will be removed from the page. All requested information on the account must be completed to enter and to be eligible to win. Proof of submission is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt of such entry.

GodTube.com (“Sponsor”) is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries. All entries become the property of Sponsor. All entries must be uploaded by 5 p.m. CST on 5/20/11.

2. Eligibility Requirements: Each group leader must be at least 18 years of age by 5/20/11 and must have a valid driver’s license or other government-issued identification or if under 18 must have the consent of a legal guardian with a valid driver’s license or other government-issued identification. Employees of Sponsor and all other sponsoring companies, their licensees and subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”) and each of their respective family members and/or members of the same household of each are ineligible.

3. Winner(s) Selection: Between the dates of May 2-6, 2011 and May 9-13, 2011, Godtube.com will conduct a Virtual Scavenger Hunt each day until the end of the contest period. To participate in the Scavenger Hunt, a registered GodTube.com user may navigate within the GodTube.com website to find the 30 Days of GodTube.com logo based on a clue that will be released at 8 a.m. EST the morning of the contest. Clues may be embedded on the video page. To make a submission, participants must comment on the video using the initials “VSH” to be eligible.

One winner will be randomly selected, using Random.org, from among all the eligible entries received. The drawing will occur at the end of each day during the contest period at 5 p.m. EST, at GodTube.com’s offices.

By participating in the “GodTube.com Virtual Scavenger Hunt” entrants accept and agree to these rules and the decisions of the terms and conditions of GodTube.com, which shall be final and legally binding. Winner(s) will be contacted by email immediately following the contest end date. If a winner does not respond to Sponsor’s notification email within five (5) days, or if that winner declines prize, all winnings will be forfeited. Potential winner(s) will be subject to a screening process that will be performed by Sponsor to approve or deny the selected winner(s) for safety purposes or any reason they deem necessary. Released Parties are not responsible for inability to contact winner(s) due to spam filters, email issues, phone ID blocking, caller ID and /or any other call blocking devices that may be in place with potential winner’s telephone service.

4. Prize: The owner of the winning GodTube.com account will receive a cash prize of $50. The prize is non-transferable and no substitution or cost equivalent is allowed.

The prize does not include applicable taxes, nor do they include any other item not specifically named in this document. Such items are the responsibility of the winner. Prizes will be mailed to the winner.

In the event of a reasonable question regarding a winner’s identity, entries will be deemed made by the legal holder of the email account associated with the entry

Each winning video must be a flash mob. Any prizes will be awarded by mail to the individuals involved in the making of the video via the GodTube.com user whom uploaded the video.

The contest provides Entrants with the opportunity to create a short flash mob video for GodTube.com and to submit the video for consideration. Eligible videos will be judged by the number of Facebook “likes” gained during the voting period. All video entries must be uploaded to GodTube.com [https://www.godtube.com] and the MUST be tagged “Flash Mob Contest Entry.” If the video is not tagged appropriately, it will not qualify for entry to the contest. Video entries must be received by May 20, 2011 by 5:00PM CST. Entrants must create a GodTube,com account to upload the video and must include: group leader’s full name and email address. Entrants must also agree to GodTube.com’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Contest entries must use an approved song for your video. Videos that do not have proper copyright permissions will not qualify for entry to the contest.

Each video that is entered into the contest must meet the following “Video Requirements” (any video that, in GodTube.com’s sole and absolute discretion, violates the following criteria will be disqualified):

  • (a) the video must be in one of the following file formats: .mov, .mpg, .mpeg, .avi, .dvix, .xvid, .mkv, .mp4, .flv, .wmv;
  • (b) the video must be less than 10 minutes in length;
  • (c) the video must be a flash mob;
  • (d) the video should be original, creative, innovative and unique; and
  • (e) the video must be the submitting Entrant’s original, previously unpublished work and not contain any third party copyrighted material (including images, songs, videos, etc.).


The Entrant should be able to provide on request all appropriate clearances, permissions and releases for the video, including releases from all persons appearing in the video. Sponsor reserves the right, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to disqualify the applicable video, or seek to secure the releases and clearances for Sponsor’s benefit, or allow the applicable video to remain in Contest. All content uploaded to GodTube.com must align with Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

The final winner (pending all eligibility requirements listed in this document) will then be notified by 12:00 p.m. CST on May 31, 2011 through their contact information on their GodTube.com account.

By participating in the “GodTube.com Video Contest” entrants accept and agree to these rules and the decisions of the terms and conditions of GodTube.com, which shall be final and legally binding.
