In our minds, the two words don’t seem to go together too well: scandal and worship. Worship is supposed to be calm, proper and respectable – or is it? David’s worship in 2 Samuel 6 was anything but. It was a tad bit on the “edgy” side. It bordered on being scandalous. And God is O.K. with that? Or was Michal right in being disgusted with his boorish display?
Can someone explain to me what God really wants from me when it comes to worship? 2 Samuel 6:12-23; John 4:23-24; 1 Corinthians 14:40; Romans 12:1
