I am a born again Christian who accepted the Lord the day I got married to my beautiful wife in 2003. Before that, I was heading the wrong direction very fast working as a part time DJ on the weekends. I was raised in a Catholic family but never truly knew the Lord until 1998 when my new boss, at my new job, in the new trade gave me a book of the four gospels. I read the book from cover to cover but I lacked the guidance I needed to understand what I was reading. My boss would talk to me about it but while his heart was in the right place, his flesh and mind where not. I was getting his interpretations of the bible but not the true message. I never could get interested in it and I never pick the book up again. The Lord had put his claims on me already without me even knowing it but my flesh was getting the best of me. When I married my wife and I learned from her what it truly felt to have the love of Christ. I realized what I had been missing my whole life in the Catholic church, a one on one relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ. I no longer turn to dead saints or the mother of my Lord for prayer, I go directly to the Father in Jesus' name. One on One, Father to child, Creator to creation. I finally understood where my salvation came from and it had nothing to do with how good I was, how much good I did, or how many people I had on earth praying for me. It all came down to the last words of a dying man, the son of God, God in the flesh, in John 19:30 "It is finish". His task was complete and salvation was now ours through His blood. The word of truth ministries is about teaching the word of God through the word of God and not through the word of an established traditional belief. I don't believe in traditions and men made doctrines as a way to preach the gospel but I preach the word of truth as it is given to me by the Holy Spirit.
