9/11 Tribute: America's Rise From Tragedy (featuring Everything by Lifehouse)

I was on the phone with an old friend, Pat Varble watching the news when the first tower was hit thinking that it was a horrible accident. We wcontinued to watch the news together as the second plane hit the other tower realizing that this was no accident. We could not tell if the tower was weaving or not... I said I think that tower is going to fall . We discussed who we thought would do such a thing deliberately and why as we watched as the first tower come down. We both became utterly speechless. It was the 2nd worst day of my life. The first was when President John F. Kenndy was shot and killed. God help the USA.

What has happened to our country. We used to be self reliant. We used to care about one another and be GOD fearing. We used to strive to do our very best. And we used to instill these things in our children. I know it is not September 11, 2001, but this video is well worth the time it takes to watch.

If only America could pull together like they did that day. I held hands with many people as we prayed together. Some of them didn't even know how to pray, but they we in it. I hope America can see what is happening. I agree wholeheartedly that we need to watch our step and take that step back toward God and unity under His leadership. We don't hear anything about that these days unless it is a criticism. We were established as "one nation, under God." What ever happened to that?

It is always good to see love in action; however, if you read the book "THE HARBINGER", Jonathan Cahn gives irrefutable proof biblically that this event marked the beginning of God's judgement on this nation. There have been many harbingers of judgement since, and yet the nation has yet to demonstrate the repentance necessary to deliver us from this judgement. God is looking for one thing at this time-----REPENTANCE! We actually have a narrow window of time to escape judgement and eventual captivity. I know it's hard to believe, but READ THE BOOK! I pray God help us to repent! Grant us the desire to repent(Phil 2:13). The handwriting is on the wall. Get your spiritual head out of the sand, and seek God! He loves us, and will forgive us if we repent. We as christians bear the responsibility for the condition of this nation. Please WAKE UP!

That was sad during that time, everyone went into crisis. This is how evil came into this world to corrupt the nations. Jesus is here to save everyone who stands up to believe?

I don't believe in a God who hates people and punishes people and judges people and wants to take revenge on Americans. I don't believe the average Muslim believes in an Allah who hates America and wants to punish Americans and blames the USA whenever innocent Muslims suffer anywhere in the world either. I DO BELIEVE that Religious Extremists - Christian, Muslim, and otherwise - are responsible for more hatred and war and vengeful behavior and judgmental oppression of others than any other members of the human race... when will we ever learn? When will we stop blaming people who don't worship as we do or have the same color of skin as we have or come from the same tribes as our ancestors came from for "the vengeance of God that will surely mark the beginning of the Apocalypse?" And when will we stop terrorizing our children with this hatred and prejudice? Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is within you and around you. Lift a stone and I am there..." Jesus told us to treat other human beings as we would wish to be treated. I pray that our nation does not fall into the hands of a president who would let these extremists delude and bully him into obeying their every whim. I am grateful that at the present time the United States is blessed to enjoy the level-headed and reasonable ministrations of a fair-minded leader who does not covet the attention of radicals.

I cried again watching this video. Memories of how I heard of this happening while I drove to work that morning. The horror that overcame me as I watched it on tv. The tears I shed for New York City and all the people in the Twin Towers as well as those trying to help. And the anger that erupted in every city. I believe God allowed such a tragedy to bring the United State of America Under God once more. It started that way years before we existed. It should remain that way. Unfortunately there are those who don't feel the same way as I do. And that's OK. I cannot judge them, only God can and will when His day comes. Politics are not my thing only because since I was old enough to vote there has been a lot of "slander the opponent" campaigns out there. Is that really what the Presidential Election should be all about? Is that what any election should be all about? How can we have a true leader if he uses the same tactics as everyone else? When that man comes along, I'll vote for him alone. But, in the mean time, I will continue to pray for MY nation and the leaders of the United States. I will continue to love my country even with all the unrest.
