If his friends relocated out of state, it could have been difficult. The couple may not have a close family in the area who knew where they were.

That is what I am saying Lisa

THERE WAS NO ACTING IN THAT REACTION HE WAS REALLY TOUCHED---HOW EASY IT WOULD BE TO FORGET THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED US ALONG OUR WAY IN LIFE.

this is very touching I don't to see a man cry but I see why he was crying because you don't see many people that would do what these people did and may god bless them for doing it.

If they were so important, why would he not keep in touch? And you're telling me he didn't have the resources to find them, but some staff member did? I'm guessing he never attempted to repay the $11,000 either. My folks divorced when I was in high school. My Dad disappeared (due to nefarious activity in which he was involved) and he never wrote or called me. Then 26 years later when he was destitute (because he had run out of people to mooch from) he miraculously found me! I saw Harvey in an interview where he said "when someone says they are an atheist, I just walk away." Wow, really? We should never dismiss non-believers, but rather pray for them, talk with them and try to demonstrate God's love through our actions, and not just words. But I digress. I think Jesus said it best, “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you....If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?" Matt. 4:43-48

Call me a skeptic, but the first thing I wondered was if they were so important to him, why did he not keep in touch? And secondly, did he ever repay the $11,000 (if not, he should be ashamed)? My Dad lost touch with me in high school (he and my Mom divorced and he disappeared and I never knew where he lived because he never bothered to write or call). Then, when he was destitute and had no place to go and no money, he miraculously found me 26 years later. Things that make you say "Hmmmmm....."

MATTHEW 25:34 " Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, yes blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was ahungered, and yes gave me meat: I was thirsty, and yes gave me drink: I was a stranger, and yes took me in: 36 naked, and yes clothed me: I was sick, and yes visited me: I was in prison, and yes came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee ahungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as yes have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, yes have done it unto me. "

Kim Martin With his money-He could have found them. His tears I believe was guilt almost like what would have been on Mother Loves show back in the 90's

I don't think so. He had been looking for them. We often lose touch with the ones we care for the most. I lost touch with a dear friend of mine for years at a time and now we are back in touch and as close as ever. He is my son's Godfather. I met him when I was 17 and he is my brother/best friend for life.
