Newtown Shooting Survivors Sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow - Incredibly Moving!!!

we all need to keep praying tha they do put prayer back inot the schools especially for the kids sake so I will keep praying to god that he does help the governement to do this and to protect our schools and children and grandchildren too and this has always been my favorite song and I cannot wait to meet Jesus at the end of my rainbow too.

The schools haven't been safe since God was taken out of them. It's time that God is put back into the schools. This video has nothing about God. It's time the American people wake up and see that we need God in our lives. God is not going to bless our nation as long as the corruption and things that are an abomination to God continues. It's time that the American people repents and gives their hearts to God and start living for him and seeking his will.

God is not going to bless our nation when the people doesn't want to have anything to do with him.

God is in this beautiful video - you see God in the faces and you hear God in the song. Somewhere over the rainbow is a land that I heard of.............our hope is not that Jesus is waiting for us in a distant and far away place, but here - and the hope that is in this song is the hope that God's kingdom will be on this earth - someday -someday - as Dr. King put it....."I have a dream that all...... will hold hands and walk together". "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". May it serve to heal all those who are suffering - I'm pretty sure that would be in God's character.

God is in this beautiful video - I heard the dream - the hope of peace, beauty - I heard it and I saw it in the faces of these precious ones - and that is all about God. I trust this has and will help to bring healing to these who have been through such violence at such a fragile and tender age. Thanks be to God for his faithfulness.

They do realize that the song has been adopted as the anthem for the LGBT community don't they?

Our children need to be taught religion for it is God who is reached out for during unimaginable times like this and they need to know he is there for them. They need to know he is the biggest support system there is. They need to know he is just a thought or a prayer away. What happened at Sandy Hook was tragic. Of that there is no doubt, but the only answere is Jesus Chris, not somewhere over the rainbow.

I have try to watch this video5 times and have not got to see it all the way throught an ad keeps coming up for this web page so I will not try again I would love to have seen it sorry I am gone.

I believe the caption said this was inspiring and it is. To see the children singing and smiling with purpose is awesome after the tragedy. Sometimes we can be so religious we miss the blessing.

So sweet to listen to these beautiful children, yet so sad to hear the stark reality of all the world has to offer - a pretty song about a non-exsitant hope, somewhere over the proverbial rainbow... They offer a song, we offer The Song, Jesus Christ - for true peace, love, forgiveness, hope, healing and grace... May He bless all those left behind by this tragedy with His Holy Spirit in deep and saving ways...

I remember a post on FB... someone was angrily saying, "How can a loving God let this happen? Why didn't He protect these children?". One commentor said, "Because WE took God out of school. God & prayer in school is against the law. God didn't let those kids down... WE did."

We must continue to cover our children and schools in prayer. Bless the families who have suffered such a terrible loss and my prayer is that no other family has to experience the loss of a child due to violence.
