"And such WERE some of you..."

  • 2012-02-14T22:06:42

The word tell us that God is not willing that any should perish. So, He is not concern with how many people we reach. He is concern about us even when we fall, we may leave Him, but He never leaves us. His love is so great toward us that we cannot comprehend it nor understand it. So, God will do anything to bring us back to and He did it through His Son Jesus. And only God knows a person's heart because when we confess with our mouth The Lord Jesus and believe in our heart then we are saved. And we don't know what happens at that moment when a person is alone with God. My hands are not that clean where I can condemn or judge anyone.

I hope that it is so!!

Our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ comes to us in our desperate times if we call on Him, He holds us and does not let go until we are comforted. Sometimes He will take us home to deliver us from our pain, Praise God for His COMPASSION! I firmly believe that salvation is always available! and if we receive. it, it's ours. it's not about what we do....the doing was done by Yeshua on calvary, and He gives us MERCY and GRACE! I know that there will be a huge number of surprises in heaven....because salvation was not left up to human beings, thank GOD.He is the only judge that really matters! My prayer is that the ones who are blessed with the gift of another day here on earth would get ready to meet our God......Invite Jesus into your hearts today, tomorrow is not promised to anyone!

Darlene Elizabeth Williams ...sorry that church was the last place you could find help. I know that is NOT what Jesus said HIS church is supposed to be about. But I also know that judgement is alive and well in all churches. We have to step out of our fear of our sins being "found out" and trust someone with the truth of our pain. Sometimes as a wife....we are standing in the gap for our loved ones through prayer...tears...worry...then prayer again...turning it all over to Jesus. Living in the midst of watching a loved one struggle with their sins...especially addictions...can make us feel so alone and helpless. And even though it's not true...satan can tell us that God is not hearing our pleas for their deliverance. During those times...we need Godly counsel...one that we can trust. My prayer is that every church have a few Godly men and women...that can be trusted with our heartfelt agony...many times that needs to be a Pastor or elder of the church. We (Christian's) must have a safe place to go with our secrets...to get intercessory prayer...and many times...to be held up like Aaron held up Moses' arm during the battle. We are Christians...even Jesus went to HIS Father for Godly advice. So grateful Darlene that God answered your prayers and your husband got the help he needed. I will pray for his continued recovery...it is an every day process. And for your heart to feel God's love for both of you today. Happy Valentine's Day...

Derek Edwards ....last I checked a life as a human being is one we sadly deny Christ daily...I know I struggle in this category every single second of my life. I die daily though to my sin, and I continue to strive for that one day where I can look in the mirror and be proud of the man looking back at me. Sure I have done great things and try to follow God every single day, but if I'm 100% honest I couldn't look God in the eyes and say, "I didn't deny you in any way today Lord". Anyone can profess or speak about Christ...and even the Devil can quote the bible...and the Devil was part of God's kingdom and fell from grace, so who are we to think we can't?! I do pray Whitney is in heaven as I would for anyone, but I cannot and will not act like I know one way or another.

I cannot pretend to know her heart at the time of her passing. I do pray she was right with God for her soul's sake, but I refuse to think either way.

God Bless Whitney's family! It came as a shock tome to read about her death in the paper Sunday morning! I agree with Ayda's statement-God loves her & forgives her!

Derek Edwards ...I do not see that the Lord differentiates between believers and unbelievers when it comes to sin. We separate our selves from God by our sins. Jesus came to save us FROM our sins, not in them. What mother finds her children in a mud puddle and leaves them there? She washes them clean before she takes them before the KING. And Jesus washes us from our sins when we confess them and forsake them. So many Scriptures teach that sin leads to destruction. How can we say that believers will keep on sinning deliberately? Check out 1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. And, 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: Here is my understanding on this. IF we are born again every day, we will not separate ourselves from God by loving the world or hating ourselves by indulging in addictions. When we do fall, we confess and He forgives us. BUt we don't go on sinning. That would be like a man or woman marrying someone, and saying they can't be faithful so they have to keep on commiting adultery. How many marriages would survive that! Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 1Co 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Rosemary Wilks: That is the only way 2 see Jesus on His THRONE through REPENTANCE,and keeping it to the very second of our life.but to say where wl I be is not my or you responsibility:MARK 10:37 And they said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and one on `thy' left hand, in thy glory.10:38 But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I drink? or to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?10:39 And they said unto him, We are able. And Jesus said unto them, The cup that I drink ye shall drink; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:10:40 but to sit on my right hand or on `my' left hand is not mine to give; but `it is for them' for whom it hath been prepared.

That was beautiful!! And I reiterate what you said, 'did we even notice' ? Many of us tend to look at our brothers and sisters through eyes and a heart that chooses to look only at the surface. But you made an excellent point: we all know or know of a 'Whitney.' We just have to look beyond the surface to find her (or him).

I hope that she "Truly" accepted Jesus, cause then we will hear her gain singing praises in Heaven!
