Loved the signs but did anyone notice the $2.25 for gas at the Sheetz? That picture must have been taken some time ago lol.

Some of them are for real. Some strange. Some funny.

I enjoyed most of the signs. Some were off track, but if you rewatch the video, there were many that were right on target and very good. I watched the video to get a laugh, which I did. I don't wish to have a theological study over a few church signs.

While we do not agree on a lot of these signs, let us however pray that Jesus will use these messages to speak to people's heart. Some people will find them controversial. Only He knows who needed it. Educating people is better rather than being confrontational. And if it annoys us, let us get down on our knees and pray for these people. Or are we doing that? We all need to remember that we are not perfect. We need unity in the body of Christ. Instead we devour each other and the worst part is we post it on Facebook and let the whole the whole world know of our discord. How sad is that? The whole world is laughing at us because of our behavior. We all need to pray for all the christians in the world that the Lord Jesus will give us all wisdom and understanding that we might be worthy to be called that, CHRISTIANS.

p.s. U cant please every body, and just saying merry christmas today is offensive to some. So live a little. U win some u lose some. Should we shiver in worry 'bout what people will think all the time. Jesus called the religious people in His day a brood of vipers and whitewashed tombs. A lot of secular people laughed at those signs andd thought I don't agree with their beliefs but that's hilarious and scary and food 4 thought all at once.

I didn't find any humor in the Hannakuh sign! OBVIOUSLY someone doesn't know their BIBLE as well as they claim because they would know that the 1st CHRISTians were JEWS!

One of my favourite signs, which I didn't see, but have remembered since BEFORE I was a Christian wasn't listed here, but it made such an impression, I remembered it for 20 years was: "God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts." Cracked me UP!

Though I do not believe He is the reason for the season, (Constantine is) He is the reason for each and every day... And Rizzle for the Sizzle is really going too far. It was almost vulgar to me. Others were judgmental (like the one about skipping church on Christmas and going to hell.) The leaders of these churches need to read their Bibles and history books. They seem pretty ignorant to me.

I regret the lack of a sense of humor that appears in many of these comments. Yes, some of them were Biblically inaccurate, but that's part of the humor. Regarding the one about missing church on Christmas guaranteeing going to Hell, did anyone notice that the service day was 12/24? Stupid, yes, but if we cannot laugh at ourselves and see our own human failings, we'll be even less credible to those we need to reach.

I agree that some of the sign messages are over the top... and insult to the reader, particularly to those who are not Believers, or are unchurched. I flat out don't believe that the majority of churches, regardless of denomination, would put those words on their signs. So, given that rationale, I'd say that most of these sign messages are fake. Not convinced? Then how about the size/type of lettering on most all of these signs being exactly the same? A short drive around to most churches where I live shows many different sizes, styles, etc. Look at these signs again... their lettering is an exact carbon copy of the others. Far too much of a coincidence to be believable.

I totally agree with Cannonball J Roberts research and comment, not only do many churches use guilt to interest the non-believer they medal in most believers lifes, which resembles cults. Where the spirit is there is liberty, not liberty to continue live in unbelief but liberty with freedom in Christ Jesus. As the scripture states Jesus hung on the Cross, and God sent his only begotten Son that who so ever believe that God raised him from the dead, would be saved if we all confessedf with our mouth and believe in ourn heartsn that this happen, we shall be saved. Along with the greatest two commendments, love God with all your might power and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. Not becoming part of church to leave others out, Jesus said he came as a Sheperd for all not a select group or denomination but that all would have the right to the tree of life and not perish.

Ok, some are witty, others could easily be taken as offensive. It's great to have fun, but the way things come across need to be considered as well. I believe many non-believers would read some of these signs and be turned off from even considering stepping inside a church. Just my opinion.
