Joyce Meyer - Words Have Power, Demon Possessed People Stink

No offense intended, but do you people ever read the Bible? There are more scriptures on the words we speak than most other subjects, i.e., Proverbs, James, etc. Jesus even said we would have whatever we say in Mark 11:23 if we speak w/o doubting. He used the fig tree he cursed as an example. He also said in Matt. 12:36-37 we would have to account for every idle word we speak and that our words would either justify us or condemn us. Pr. 18:8 says, "The words of a talebarer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the body". Aren't you talebearing, gossiping, backbiting & judging? Pr. 18:7 says, "A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul." Pr. 16:24 says, "Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." Pr. 18:21 says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it will eat the fruit if it." James 1:26 says, "If anyone among you seems to be religious, & doesn't bridle his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is vain." We also are to keep our mouth off of God's anointed (even if they are wrong). David did this even though Saul was trying to kill him. David had 2 chances to kill Saul & let him go because he said, "I will not touch God's anointed". He left vengeance up to God. Also, don't forget that God created the world with His Word. Jesus delegated that authority to us in His Name. Jesus defeated Satan in the wilderness testing with the Word. Regarding Jesus going to hell before his resurrection, the scripture says, "You will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption." There are many more scriptures that space doesn't permit here. I hope you study it for yourselves. Joyce is the real deal. I've studied under her for at least 10 years. I don't believe what people say unless it matches up w/The Bible. Spoken in Christ's love.
