Saw Ryan Hall's interview with Mike Huckabee 8/5/12. Very inspiring, great testamony!
just watched you & Sarah on iBethel - - so inspiring!
so inspired by Ryan's story!
http://www.godtube.com/watch/?v=7WGG7NNX I watched this video in the past while working out on the treadmill, but never really understood the message until the other day. I was in the middle of a hard hill repeat workout and suffering a bit when the epiphany struck that the running is not about me. Ryan says in this video, it is about "pouring myself out for Him"... the only satisfying life is "the life of discipline and following Christ"... "If I can Praise God with all my mind, body and soul while I run then that is a satisfaction that no one can take away." We are given these lives and wonders and we use them properly when we praise Him in all we do. Running is but one vehicle for me. So how does the small amount of suffering that we can do to praise Him even compare to the suffering that Jesus did for us so we can live a better life? Mark 14:37 says, "Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Simon," he said to Peter, "are you asleep? Could you not keep watch for one hour?"
