Coolest Dad Ever. Dad Sings Bohemian Rhapsody With Kids On the Way to School

Justin Byrd Sorry, dude. You're WAY off base here. The words we speak (or sing) are HUGELY significant. They are life and death - so says the scriptures. They are crucial, even. No one is denying the love and enjoyment this dad and his kids are getting by singing this song - HOWEVER, a better choice of songs with the same joy is preferable because those kids ABSOLUTELY WILL remember the words they have sung because that is how we are made! And also, no one is judging anyone's decisions - we are simply commenting. Last I checked, that's not 'judging'.

All of ya have some pretty good points there. We should be careful about our "dad's" role with regards to our kids, but what they walk away with is sometimes hard to figure out. I'm a professional musician (meaning I get paid to do that stuff you're talkin about haha). Queen was a great group, but it's pretty sad that a great talent like Freddy Mercury died of AIDS. That's not a judgement call btw, just a sadness. I have many friends in this industry who have died, much to do with the crazy environment that it perpetuates. On the other hand, I would love to see anything Christian that would even remotely aspire to the level of writing these guys (Queen and many other secular artists) were capable of. Ya, the message is important (I can hear many yelling at me), but couldn't we get some art in there too. Most of the songs I've in this genre are pretty much three chord dittys with the same old rehashed melodys with the same old styles with the same old voices. You get the idea. Ya , I know it's not about the art, right? Or wasn't it God who created everything? I'm glad He took the time to do it right. Aren't you?

Because of this video that God tube has posted and promoted... I will no longer subscribe to anymore God Tube videos. I will not explain, because the words from this song explain it all. God tube has crossed the line. It is similar to a father being cool, by swearing in front of his children, then being proud as they use the Lord's name in vain! I am Very disappointed in God Tube. I am sure those who will say, "judge not lest yes be judged!" That is fine with me, cause this verse does not say, do not judge. This verse says, expect to be judged as you have judged. In my heart and and my soul I have judged this video fairly. I cannot ignore the prompting of the Spirit of God! I must take a stand now! It is my prayer, that others will follow suit, and then maybe God Tube will seek God's guidance. And not alow the posting such repulsive videos that promote demons. Such videos that do not promote God, such videos that do not glorify Jesus! I say enough God Tube... It is my hope that others will say enough too! Stan Komarniski www.iamneo.org

That scripture isn't used correctly, we are to correct and rebuke. God's word does say that we are to judge. Discernment is necessary for many of those who make light of such a horrible song, with most likely demon spirits that flowed through the band Queens and their music. Remember that Lucifer (satan) was the leader of the Angelic choir. Again please don't make light of such music.

Short and sweet, I totally agree brother. Rom 12:2 also.

Prayer Canada I am just sick and tired of seeing Christians being negative towards non-christians and anything secular and non-Christians being so negative towards Christians and anything Christians. It makes me sick.

Many of the secular or (un-saved) people believe in gods. Not necessarily God/Creator of the bible. Unless they have accepted the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) Peter said...."Repent, all of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins (and then) you will be given the [gift of the Holy Spirit]. Without God's Holy Spirit we are most likely unable to discern God's goodness (Righteousness) from what we understand. What we may tolerate God may not. God/Creator has Absolutes and so should we. Sent with love, real love because God is Love.

Good song? I beg to differ. I came out of the rock era of the 70's that this song was a part of. Thank God, He delivered me from this mess! This is far from a good wholesome song for anyone's children to be singing, let alone a child of God! SMH :/

Father and children interacting together, GREAT. Do they know what this song is about, I doubt it, I don't. Do they care, I doubt it. They are having a good time WITH A PARENT. The book of John spells out WHAT WE MUST DO TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD. If this family has done that then what this song is about is a moot point.

Hi Richard, I Love the Lord, sing in a worship team and don't always sing gospel either. But BECAUSE I love the Lord I try to be sure that the words of my mouth, spoken or sung, are acceptable to God and don't serve Satan. The Words of this song are like so many video games and TV shows that parents let their children watch; they rob our children of their innocence, anaethetise them to sin, promote fear, mayhem and a death wish. I don't think those are the things you want to repetitively teach your children.

Anita Grigson Brown Anita, I agree. There is temptation on the Net here that's for sure. After Adam Lambert almost beat Chris Allan on American Idol we quit watching TV. We have the PC in the living room and guard what is being viewed. I think that most Christians are going along with the world and staying "Over-Entertained". As you stated, we are told "go out and share the Gospel to all living creatures". How many of us really are?. Take care sister. I appreciate and love you in and with Christ.

I think that the Dad is probably an Awesome dad. However, if he's a Christian dad he is using bad judgement. We should not partake in any such behavior. Such spirit in such song, definately not a good thing. As Love Rich says...."Where is the Christian Discernment". I hear DJ's on KLOVE talking about secular movies and songs and lame tv shows, they really don't need to be doing that. Are some "Going along just to get along?''. I mention it to them when I have the chance. I would not donate $ to such groups. We are to be good stewards of our money. love peace (IS 9:6)
