To hear any one sing God's praises is a blessing and music to my ears no matter how they sing it. Today so many people don't believe...just to hear a verse is inspiring to me.

I agree, I wanted to hear the verses too. Carrie Underwood sang this song on her first visit on the Grand Ole Opry and sang all 3 verses and it was phenomenal! It's on youtube.com.

This woman has a bright spirit, God has blessed her with a beautiful voice, she is singing for God in this video and to Him. I've watched Susan from the beginning of her career; I love her singing. Why didn't she sing at least one verse of the song? Singing 17 words of the chorus over and over was a great disappointment to me. Why would they edit this beautiful song down to that?

Beautiful, but I agree, it would have been wonderful to hear the verses, too. They declare the gospel so eloquently - Christ's dying willingly to take away our sins, and even His coming again for us someday.
