It seems like no matter what a Christian does, someone will criticize. Toby, keep your eye on the prize, no matter what others who profess to be believers think of you and your desire to share your faith! We are all made different and even as I grow older (48 now), I find that each generation has their own way of sharing & loving. Why should we put it down, when it works for them? Who is to say our way is the "right" way? Just sayin'... :-)

People...Listen to the music for what it is. If it uplifts and makes you feel positive, enjoy it. You always have the choice to listen or not but there is no need for judgement.

For all of you that are so negative, did you bother to ask the Holy Spirit to open the eyes of your understanding (Ephesians) to how an all powerful God can use many avenues to get people saved. Are you checking the plank in your eye before you judge the speck in an artist's eyes? Or as the Pharisees (white-washed) are you certain you are correct because you don't agree with the new way our Father wants to do something "Jesus"? God moved past flannel boards a long time ago. Pride goes before a fall. How many teenagers have you led to Jesus lately?

Toby, you rock! I have followed you for many years through your Christian music and you never fail to lift up my spirit with awesome lyrics and beat! Thank you for keeping on!

I agree with one of the former posts that ; if u would watch this video out of context ; you would have no idea it is a christian video since there is no direct reference to God , Jesus , or Scripture.H owever , I do remember reading that this song was taken from Scripture ; I believe it is Proverbs 4:25 " let your eyes look straight ahead , fix your gaze directly gefore you." I do not know why he did not make it more clear ; however if u reference it with his other lyric/music I think we can agree that his mission is to glorify God with his songs / music.

People are being so negative over a positive song. Toby Mac has been belting out encouraging wholesome music for years. If GOD isn't in the lyrics 50 time, you people want to act like it's not a christian song. Knowing the type of music he produces, sings, directs and writes, you should know the heart of the song is based on christian beleif. It's a positive and up beat song. This is the type of music that we can feel safe having our children listening too. Keep up the great work Toby, you are the very first christian artist I listened two with a fresh beat that made me realize that you can have diversity in christain bases radio, not one type of music is for all people. Keep up the good work with your diversity and encouraging tunes. There is a reason that you carry the lable of diversified, because none of us are the same and that's what is great about this life. We all can glorify God how we want as long as it is in his Glory.

I had the privilege of seeing Toby twice. Both were in Columbia, S.C. The songs were more than lyrics but what he introduced throughout the concerts, and it was all Jesus Christ. There had to be a thousand plus in each concert surrendering their lives at the altar calls. This man has a way of playing his music hard, but a very clear message. Those who put him down, are truly uneducated and judging falsely. His message is clearer than those putting him down. Souls are being saved, while critic's sit in misery while judging others.

Toby Mac's music has encouraged me in my Christian faith more than any other artist out there. I thank God for his music....he has helped me keep my eyes on Jesus and move forward towards the prize....thank you Toby Mac for keeping your eyes on Jesus! (yes, you do have "your eye on it"!) me too! :)

So let me run in the race that I know is better to last. Hey all... this has 1 Corinthians 9:24 written all over it! You don't have to say words God or Jesus to show Him to the world. Sometimes it is just as appropriate to let others see Him in the theme of your life, and Toby definately does this!
