The a cappella sensations Pentatonix are known for their unique sound and talented covers. Over the years, they’ve become quite popular for their Christmas tunes such as ‘Mary Did You Know’‘Mary Did You Know’ and ‘Little Drummer Boy.’ Today, they are singing another modern Christmas song and it’s simply beautiful.

‘Where are you Christmas

Why can't I find you

Why have you gone away

Where is the laughter

You used to bring me

Why can't I hear music play’

‘Where Are You, Christmas?’ was originally written for the 2000 movie ‘How The Grinch Stole Christmas.’ The song was first performed by Taylor Momsen, who played Cindy Lou Who in the film. Later, it was sung by country artist Faith Hill.

The lyrics truly resonate with a lot of people this time of year. Christmas can be a difficult time if you are missing a loved one or feel emptiness in your heart. One of the most important things to remember is that God is always with us. He hears our cries and He will always be the strength that lifts us up. When we remember that Christ is the real reason for the season, His light can shine through us for all to see.

‘I feel you Christmas

I know I've found you

You never fade away

The joy of Christmas

Stays here inside us

Fills each and every heart with love’

Pentatonix always has a way of choosing the perfect songs to showcase their talents and touch the hearts of the world. This is definitely one I’m adding to my Christmas playlist.
