Rules...it's a word that most of us don't like to hear. Do we accept that God sometimes says no to our requests, or do we silently blame Him for not caring or understanding? Life under God’s direction will not be pain-free. His goal is not to keep you comfortable. It is to cause you to “yield the peaceful fruit of righteousness” and the “holiness without which no one will see the Lord”. Like our own children we may not be able appreciate it now, but someday soon enough, we will.
