'Just As I Am' Sisters Sing Classic Hymn In Church

Feel the grace of the Lord as The Detty Sisters sing the classic hymn ‘Just As I Am.’ These words are the perfect reminder that despite our sins and shortcomings, God accepts us just the way we are.

“Dear Lord, I'm on my knees again
I come to you because you understand
I've tried so hard, but I just can't change myself
That's why I know I need your help”

The Detty Sisters are comprised of four country cuties from southern Ohio. Peyton, Cadie, Lily and Sophia have all been singing worship songs since a very young age. Peyton and Cadie would sing in church and it eventually transformed into playing other venues and even releasing an album.

On their website the family shares the beginning of the group., “The girls would sing and learn new songs all the time bringing people into worship and joy in their hearts. In August of 2018 the Lord called us to do something a little different and way out of our comfort zone. He said what we are doing at our church and in our home, I want you to share it with the world. That is exactly what we began to do.”

Today, the two oldest sisters are doing what they do best by leading us in worship with the beautiful words of ‘Just As I Am.’

Featured on their hymn album of the same name, this song is truly praise to His Holy Name.

“So here I am, this in my plea
My only hope is your love for me
I'm reaching out so desperately
Come take my hand, take all of me, just as I am”

Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together, said the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
