'Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)' Reba McEntire Worship Performance

Country legend Reba McEntire worships the Lord with the powerful words of ‘Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone).’

Christian artist Chris Tomlin originally wrote this song for his 2006 album ‘See The Morning.’ It was even nominated for a Dove Award for "Song of the Year" at the 39th GMA Dove Awards. The powerful words remind us all that we are saved by His love and grace.

“Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind, but now I see”

Reba McEntire has been a staple in the country music world for decades. With hits such as ‘Fancy’ and ‘I’m A Survivor,’ Reba has truly earned her name as the ‘Queen Of Country Music.’ Her classic songs and upbeat personality led to millions of fans all across the globe and there’s no sign of slowing down.

Today, she is leading us in worship with the iconic words of ‘Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone).’

“My chains are gone, I've been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, amazing grace”

What an incredible reminder that we are all set free because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. We are freed of our chains and washed clean of our sins. That is a gift worth praising, indeed!

You can hear this beautiful song and more on Reba’s newest gospel album My Chains Are Gone: Hymns & Gospel Favorites.
