American Idol Contestant Iam Tongi Sings ‘There Is Peace In Christ’

Iam Tongi, an American Idol contestant, continues to impress and does so this time with a song about the peace and tranquility found in Jesus Christ.

American Idol is rapidly headed toward its inevitable conclusion, where a new winner of the popular singing competition show will be crowned. Only a few musicians remain, slimmed down from the hundreds on the program only weeks ago.

One of those contestants that remains on the show, Iam, has captured the hearts and votes of many. His heartfelt and moving performances and his knack for song selection have made him a favorite. However, even before singing a note in front of Lionel Richie, Katy Perry or Luke Bryan, Iam displayed his musical talents for the entire world.

In a video posted to YouTube in April 2022, the young man from Hawaii covers “There is Peace in Christ.” While strumming along on a guitar, Iam beautifully sings about the hope, strength and peace available in Christ Jesus.

Christ is our anchor in a time of uncertainty and upheaval. He is the one to lean upon for guidance, strength and hope. He will never leave or forsake us in our time of need.

As you might expect, Iam’s rendition of the popular Christian song is just as heartfelt, touching and moving as his performances on American Idol

It is likely that Iam’s performance of the track was done with a heavy heart. The video’s description reads, “RIP Aunty Neta. We are gonna to miss you with your strong faith.”

The young man shows once again that he has been blessed with an abundance of musical talent. His terrific, melodic voice can sing nearly any genre of music. Iam is a star and may likely be the eventual winner of American Idol

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
