Madison Curbelo Nails Fleetwood Mac's 'Landslide' On The Voice

Listen to Madison Curbelo on The Voice perform a stunning cover of ‘Landslide’ by Fleetwood Mac.

“I took my love, I took it down,

I climbed a mountain and I turned around

And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills

'Til the landslide brought me down”

What a fantastic performance by Madison Curbelo during The Voice Playoffs! Her voice is so lovely and smooth, and her rendition of ‘Landslide’ is just beautiful. Many people online thought the same thing.

“Although I'm rarely made happy by an artist taking liberty with any one of my favorite songs, this rendition of Stevie Nicks Landslide was amazing,” comments one person on YouTube. “I've no doubt Stevie too approved!  Love it! What a beautiful voice.”

“Best cover I've heard,” another person writes online. “The charm of the song was not lost, yet the twist that she added to the song just hits all the right spots. Plus the lovely voice just makes it more emotional and authentic. She floats throughout the song, with no pitch issues whatsoever. Hope she goes to the live rounds.”

Madison Curbelo’s story is one of a comeback. She is 21 years old now, but back when she was 18, the young singer auditioned for season 20 of The Voice. Back then, she did not get a judge to turn their chair around for her, and she was advised to go out and perform as much as possible to build up her confidence and stage presence.

Then on this season of The Voice, Madison Curbelo went on to get a four-chair turnaround during her blind audition. She apparently took the judges’ advice from the first time she auditioned and came back to season 25 to really make an impression!

What a talented singer. We can’t wait to see what comes next for Madison Curbelo!
