"If we are to live a life worthy of the calling we have received," the Bishop said, "we must acknowledge those things in our lives still not of God; those patterns of living to which we cling that keep us from freely and wholeheartedly following the Lord."
Reflecting on the suffering Saint Paul experienced in answering God's call, Bishop Burbidge said, while we may not suffer in the same way, we all experience daily crosses. "Today, we offer to the Lord any of the crosses we are currently experiencing in life," the Bishop added.
