Forgiveness always empowers us to live like Jesus. Forgiveness allows us to love our enemies and those who hate and mistreat us. It is hard to pray for good things to happen to the people who make our lives miserable, but perhaps God puts these individuals in our lives so that we will have the chance to forgive them and in turn be more like Christ.
