Sermon:"Do You See What I Mean?" Part 1. Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren, First Presbyterian Church
The prophet Isaiah didn't have many flattering words for his congregation. Rather than commending them for their insight into God and his purposes, he accused them of being blind and deaf to the clear message of God's word. What about modern Christians today? Would Isaiah say the same of you? Can you read the events of history in light of God's word, and make the proper conclusions about yourself and your world? Watch as Pastor MacLaren shows the incredible mercies of God to his own people. In spite of the decay and collapse of their culture and the whole world around them, God pledged to be with them through it all. This sermon was preached at First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie on August 18, 2010. To learn more about the church, come visit us next Sunday or go to www.firstchurchopc.org.

A Prayer to Help You Comfort Others - Your Daily Prayer - April 25
Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
