Paul, in perhaps some of the most beautiful poetry ever written, demonstrates four aspects or characteristics about love in this passage: the necessity, elements, eternality and perfection of love. If we strive to understand love more, rather than always seeking to "fall into it," we will gain a closer relationship with God and other people.
