We are not perfect but we are made perfect in the eyes of the Lord. When He sent His only Son down to Earth to die, our sins were washed clean.
We were given new life and the opportunity to live out our days in Heaven. So, even when we may feel distant from the Lord, remember that He loves us just the way we are.
