1. According to The Washington Post, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that the United States and the world are being misled by a false face into thinking that Iran has a more moderate leader, and charged that Iran is not only continuing its nuclear program but has accelerated its quest to build a bomb in the weeks since voters elected Hassan Rouhani as president.

2. According to Reuters, Saudi Arabia has offered Russia economic incentives including a major arms deal and a pledge not to challenge Russian gas sales if Moscow scales back its support for Syrian President Bashar Assad.

3. According to Reuters, An explosion on the Israeli border with Lebanon wounded four Israeli soldiers on Wednesday. The Lebanese Army said the troops were inside Lebanese territory when the blast occurred. An Israeli military spokesman said the soldiers were involved in "an activity near the border," without providing details about their exact location or what caused the explosion.

4. According to The Times of India, solar physicists say the sun's all important magnetic field is about to undergo a complete flip and the "big event" will result in solar flares, coronal mass ejections and high-speed solar winds.
