God Warned Them… But Offered Hope

God Warned Them… But Offered Hope. Even in the midst of revival under King Josiah, Judah stood on the brink of unavoidable judgment. In this episode, the prophecies of Jeremiah and Zephaniah reveal a sobering truth: while God’s justice demands accountability for sin, His mercy always offers hope to those who will return to Him. Through vivid imagery, heartfelt warnings, and tender promises, God calls His people to face the consequences of rebellion while holding fast to the assurance of future restoration. This message speaks powerfully to our own time, reminding us that judgment and hope are never separated from the heart of God.

When God Works Differently Than Expected

When God Works Differently Than Expected. In this episode, we see how God’s power operates on His terms, not ours. From the deadly cooking pot, to multiplying loaves, to Naaman’s healing, and the floating axhead, God demonstrates that His methods often defy human expectations, yet His purposes are always accomplished. Pride, impatience, or greed can blind us to His provision, but humble obedience opens the door to miracles. This story challenges us to trust God’s ways, follow His instructions faithfully, and recognize that His gifts are never for sale, showing that God’s power remains constant even when His methods are unexpected.

Coming to His Senses

Jun 15 2026
Coming to His Senses The prodigal son received his inheritance from his father and set out for a distant country. There, he squandered everything in reckless living. After he had spent all he had, a severe famine struck the land, and he became desperate for food. Eventually, he found someone who would take him in, but the job he was given was feeding pigs. Caring for pigs is an honest job, but for the Jewish people, pigs were considered unclean animals. So, for him, it was the worst possible job. No one even gave him food. He longed to eat the pods that the pigs were eating. Unable even to bathe, he lived among the pigs. Then, when he was starving, he came to his senses. He said to himself, “That's it! I'll go back to my father. In my father's house, even the hired servants have more than enough bread. I'll go back to my father.” Having come to his senses, he decided to return home. Why did the famine come after he had spent everything? If it had come before he ran out of money, he could have managed the situation. Perhaps he would never have come to his senses. From a human perspective, it seems unthinkable that God allowed the famine to come after everything was gone. It was tragic. It was painful. But because of it, he came to his senses. And after coming to his senses, he began a new life—a life touched by God's love, a life embraced by his father's love. He was truly made new. There is also a chance for us to come to our senses. When things seem at their worst, when life seems miserable, when you find yourself asking, “Why is this happening to me?” that may be your opportunity to come to your senses. God brings us back to Himself and blesses us. Let us return to the love of God. Let us come back to the grace of the Cross and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ loves us. You are loved by Jesus Christ. Until tomorrow, on The Bible Is So Interesting, see you again. God bless you!
