David’s Anger and Abigail’s Wisdom

May 08 2026
David’s Anger and Abigail’s Wisdom. In this episode, we witness a moment when David—fresh off a spiritual victory—nearly destroys his testimony because of one man’s insult. Nabal’s arrogance triggers David’s anger, and in a moment of unchecked emotion, he sets out to take vengeance into his own hands. But God intervenes through Abigail, a woman of extraordinary wisdom and courage. Her humility, discernment, and grace keep David from committing bloodshed and remind us that even strong believers must stay vigilant against pride and anger. David’s eventual response—praising God for sending Abigail—shows the power of receiving wise counsel and the importance of staying sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s correction. This story calls us to guard our hearts daily, listen when God provides warning, and welcome those “Abigail moments” that redirect us toward righteousness.

Standing Alone for God. Have you ever had to deliver a message you knew people wouldn’t want to hear? In this episode, Jeremiah stands between a holy God and a rebellious people, faithfully proclaiming God’s warning to repent or face judgment. Despite threats on his life and widespread opposition, Jeremiah obeys God fully, showing us that faithfulness often comes at a cost. This story challenges us to courageously stand for truth, call out injustice, and remain steadfast in God’s ways, even when it’s unpopular or dangerous.

I wanted to share my journey and what God is calling me to do... I also included a little information about one of my projects.

I am on a journey with God where he called me to focus on three things (using my ADHD Brain as a gift to meet the task). First, is my ministry as Pastor at Ebenezer Church (soon a second church to help them grow until they find a pastor). Second, is serving an aviation ministry called the Fellowship of Christian Airline Personnel (FCAP), primarily our college outreach. Finally, writing! Last year I launched my first book, "Tainted", which is a Christian Fiction work highlighting spiritual warfare. It is suspenseful at times scary, but so is spiritual warfare. My goal is to complete Book 2 and 3 of the series and accompany them with a non-fiction book about the tactics of the enemy by December. I ask for your prayers in this journey. The ministry side is building, soon two churches. One we have brought back from near death and the second is not in a good place. FCAP is also rebuilding a ministry that never recovered after COVID, and the third is creating a whole new thing, a new genre in Christian Fiction and part of a bigger picture of something that to my knowledge has never been done. #christianfictionbooks #christianbooks #spiritualwarfare
