‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ by 4 Guitarists – 40 Fingers
Queen is one of the most influential and celebrated bands from the 1970s. Their massive, massive hits are still widely played and highly recognizable today. A Queen song is easily spotted, usually within the first few notes.
The group 40 Fingers took their turn playing a classic song from Queen. 40 Fingers is comprised of 4 musicians who expertly strum on the guitar.
What a mathematically accurate name!
During a concert, the 4 guys played one of the band’s biggest hits: “Bohemian Rhapsody.” At the 25:59-minute mark in the clip, the guys take a whirl at the popular tune.
And what we get is an astounding performance!
While the 40 Fingers’ performance of the song in the clip is solely an instrumental version, you can’t help but sing the song’s memorable lyrics and tap your toe along to the rhythm.
“Look up to the skies and see
I’m just a poor boy, I need no sympathy
Because I’m easy come, easy go”
In addition to playing Queen’s mammoth hit, the group plays several other recognizable songs. Earlier in the clip, at the 8:19-minute mark, 40 Fingers perform Toto’s “Africa.” After “Africa,” it’s Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel’s beloved “Sound of Silence.”
The last song the group plays in the clip, right after “Bohemian Rhapsody,” is an instrumental version of Dire Straits’ “Sultans of Swing.”
Several other people were also in awe of the band’s impressive performance and musical talent.
“Everything about the pieces this quartet performs is so tastefully done, settings, lighting, performance. When they give us a song, they so totally deliver! I’m making it mission to share their music with everyone I know,” one person wrote in response to the clip on YouTube.
Another YouTube user posted: “Beautiful classic sounds! Thank you for sharing.”
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think of these things.”
