Southern Raised Bluegrass Performs 'Letting Go' Gospel Song

The talented siblings of Southern Raised Bluegrass remind us to give God control with their beautiful song ‘Letting Go.’ This incredible tune is all about handing Him the reigns and letting God lead the way.

“I’m letting go, I’m setting free
My ideas of what this life should be
I’m letting go, I’m letting You
Lead the way the way You always do
I’ll take Your hand, You choose the road
I’m letting go, I’m letting go.”

Siblings Lindsay, Sarah, Emily and Matt make up the Southern Raised Bluegrass band. The group was raised in the Ozark Mountains and they have blended their traditional music upbringing with multiple genres and their deep-rooted faith.

Today, they are giving all the praise to God as they belt out the powerful lyrics of ‘Letting Go.’

“If You choose the path I’ve never wanted
And fill my heart with questions I don’t know
Help me see Your will and lean upon it
And open up my stubborn hands to give You control
I have felt the joy of following Your plan
So I will trust when I don’t even understand”

It’s so amazing to see a group of young people come together to worship our Lord. On their website, the group is outspoken about their commitment to keep God at the forefront of everything they do. “When asked their heart behind the music, Southern Raised says, “Jesus is
the reason we sing, the passion that burns, the cause we carry and the One we love! We thank Him for allowing us the honor to share His message with the world!”
