Nun2Be,just like Ruth, Esther, Sarah, ect. but I do not recall any of the old testament women giving birth to Christ, I do not recall any of them being Theotokos Greek for Mother of God..yes, Mary was the Mother of God since Jesus was both God and Man in one, not separate from each other, then not only was Mary the Mother of the human-side of Jesus but the Divine as well and since they are inseparate from each other, then God the Incarnate was formed with in her womb, thus making her the Mother of God...' Actually she was just a humble servant of the Lord. "Mother of God" is wrong. It would be more appropriate to say "Mother of Jesus, who is God."I believe the Mary was mother of Jesus, but she didn't get pregnant with Jesus by her lonesome..Scripture says the Holy Spirit came upon Mary. That is the real miracle here, not just that she was a virgin but she was with child by the Holy Spirit.The mother of Jesus is about her humanity.Jesus was God in the flesh when He came to this earth.Mary wasn't God in the flesh.God has no mother.Besides Jesus always existed Mary didn't always exist.john 17:24,colossians 1:15-20, John 8:58 "I tell you the truth,"Jesus answered,"before Abraham was born,I am!"1 peter 1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world,but was manifest in these last times for you, Rev. 13:8 Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. To say Mary is the Mother of God then you are saying she is God..Also, God has no mother. How did Mary kick off His ministry? Also, we can go straight to Jesus, He is our High Priest.

thanks for that, you see corpuschristi15, my father wasn't a believer nor did he trust Jesus as his Lord and Savior..I don't believe he went to Heaven..I come from a non Christian home, they do not believe or trust Jesus as the Savior..If they live in there sin, without Christ, they will die in their sins in hell forever..I came to Christ by reading His Word and personally received Him..I asked Jesus to forgive me and save me..He did, I was a new person in Christ, I see and hear things differently..My family was not happy about this..Mom called me a religious fanatic, my sisters called me a Bible Thumper and Jesus freak, and other names I will not repeat. Now that I am older, I still witness to them they don't want to hear about it..This is reason for my videos, I don't want to see anybody lost in there sins..Did you know that many good people will go to Hell because they have never personally accepted Christ or trusted in Him? Why did I ask is because you stated what you believed is because I know that Catholics believe in works salvation and Purgatory.."and that man was redeemed" Yes He died for all but not all man is redeemed.Most of man kind doesn't want to know Jesus or His Redeeming blood, they want to follow there own way.. Romans 6:6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. Romans 6:1 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

I do want to explain about intercessor. In the Old Testament, God instructed Moses to build a Tabernacle..This is important because this is a foreshadow of Christ..There was priest and a High Priest. The people would bring there sacrifices. the blood would be shead.. Then the High Priest would go into the Holy of Holies alone, none of the other priest were allowed to make intercession with God with the sins of the people. When Jesus was crucified the temple near by the veil at the Holy of Holies was torn from top to bottom..Jesus was giving us access to God. He didn't need anybody's help redeeming mankind. Also, Jesus is now our High Priest and intercessor..we go to only Him to make intercession.. I also say this also, back then if any of the priest went into the Holy of Holies and they would be struck dead.. That is why we must be very careful who we are talking to and who we go to to make intercession to.. We go to our High Priest Jesus Christ..Now can pray for our friends family and bring our prayer request to Jesus..But we are not to pray to one another..I will pray for you but not to you.. Jesus is the only one worthy of that.

Remember that we have all sinned. None of us is without excuse.Also, I understand where you background is, I too wanted to please God, but I had guilt in my heart..Like you I thought about suicide. My dad was killed in a car accident and I was lost.He was the one I looked up to..So I about 15 1/2 and went to Bible Camp. I did believe the Bible was the Word of God. I was told that Jesus died for our sins, ect. I challenged them and they gave me Scripture after Scripture and I read and read chapters to see if this was really true..Well I got convicted of my sins and asked Jesus to forgive, to save me..I realized that I had nothing to bring to the table, not my good works or anything..Just the blood of Jesus who died for me.That is why we aren't saved by works but by faith. We can never come to God with our sinfulness. This is why God sent His son to die for us so we could have our sins forgiven, be saved and have eternal life with Him.. We can't do that on our own. My life hasn't been the same, the guilt was gone, I didn't think about suicide.. I never without a doubt that I was going to Heaven when I died.. I had that kind of assurance, that only Jesus can bring.. I understand that you looked up to the saints and Mary, but you they didn't die for you..You are still trapped in you sins.. With Christ help we can change and turn away from our sins.. When you come to Christ and are saved the Holy Spirit convicts and corrects you. He guides us a long..Do we still sin yes, but we are aware of it through His Word we repent..This is why I am Bible alone. My life hasn't been the same, I don't see or hear things the same way..con't.

corpuschristi15, I am sorry I wasn't feeling well..Ok, Yes, God is a loving God, but God is a very just God and will not tolerate sin. You see, God was just in handling people in the Old Testament, but you must understand this that God is a Holy God. Also, when the people of the day, humbled themselves and repented of the their sins God showed mercy on them. Yes God is a jealous God and will not tolerate other gods..Think about it God made the whole universe, we should be praising Him only. Also, I understand that you see Jesus differently, but Jesus was/is God in the flesh, He said if you seen me you seen the Father. I and the Father are one.Jesus was loving yes, but He was just..You know what he called the Pharisees? A brood of vipers because they twisted the Law and they did it to control the people. When Jesus returns to this earth He isn't going to be a baby or still on the cross(lamb of God) but He is coming back as the Lion of the tribe of Judah.He is coming back in judgment. Why because this world is so evil and it is getting worse..Also, He will come to set up His Kingdom not just some man's Kingdom. But don't be deceived, Jesus warned about false Christ coming to deceive people..Remember that Satan deceived Eve, and then Adam followed and he brought sin and death into this world..It wasn't God but man that did this..So we can't get man at God for sin that is in the World.. con't
