Dear Sting: I believe that you had a very bad experience with some of the people of the Army. My church is not perfect, but respectfully, you can not declare ICHABOD to a church that was raised by the holy power and anointment of God. I understand that you think we became a charity, and for many we maybe an agency, but I stand in the truth of Jesus my Rock when I say that I have seen the hand of God working in my Corps, building broken lives, saving souls and fixing marriages, making disciples and soldiers. We maybe fail, but He is faithful. The Army is on fire brother, or at least getting on fire for christ.

The Bible tells us how much God really cares about us. When events in our lives seem too much to deal with, Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:28-30 how to cope. His invitation reads: "Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" The first phrase is "Come unto me". It doesn't say, try a little harder or I don't have time to be bothered with your problems. Instead the Bible says when the work seems to overwhelm and the burden too heavy, come to me; I will give you rest.

He will give you rest!
