'You'll Never Walk Alone' Andrea Bocelli Performs On Late Night TV

Andrea Bocelli inspires with this beautiful performance of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ on The Tonight Show.

This iconic song was originally a show tune from the musical Carousel. Talented composers Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein wrote the song in 1945.

In later years, other artists lent their vocals to the tune and gave it mainstream media attention. Elvis Presley released his rendition of the single in 1967 and even titled his album after the song.

“When you walk through a storm hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.”

For decades, Andrea has been showcasing his incredible vocals with songs such as ‘The Prayer’ and ‘Time To Say Goodbye.’ After a 14-year hiatus from releasing an album, Andrea produced ‘Si’ in 2018.

This international success proved that this Italian vocalist is still a powerhouse. Now, Andrea has shown no signs of slowing down with several high-profile collaborations and even a record-breaking classical live stream on YouTube.

Today, he’s appearing on The Tonight Show Featuring Jimmy Fallon with a special performance of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone.’

“Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.”

The words of this song always make me think of our relationship with Christ. He remains with us through every moment, so we are never truly alone.

Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
