Billy Graham Sermon Asks Will You Run From God Or Towards Him?

If you are looking for some encouragement check out this incredible video. Billy Graham’s sermon asks, will you run from God or towards Him?

Billy Graham is one of the most well-known evangelists in the history of the world. He led powerful events where many people accepted Christ as their Savior. He did an amazing job of teaching the truth in love. He passed away just a few years ago, and this video is a great reminder of the movement he led with the help of the Spirit.

In this video Billy shares the gift of trusting your life to Jesus. He tells of Jonah and how he tried to run away from God and what He asked Him to do to help share His love to the people of Nineveh. Billy gets you thinking about who it is that you might be avoiding, not wishing that they come to the saving grace of Christ. God’s Word tells us that the Lord does not want anyone to perish, but for all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

Billy tells a story of a man and woman he met on an airplane who have homes around the world and never stay in the same place for more than two weeks at a time. He explains the restlessness of not being satisfied in Christ and confident of His purposes. At the end of the sermon, he provides an invitation to the audience to come to the altar as an act of surrender to Jesus to accept Him as their Savior. Masses of people come to the altar.

This video motivates us that just as the Lord moved in the days of Billy Graham, He is still moving today. The approaches might look different, but the message remains the same. The gospel is that we are all sinners separated from the Holy God. It is only by Jesus that we can be reunited into the presence of the Lord. Because of Jesus, we now become children of God.
