'A Little Love' Rascal Flatts' Gary LeVox Featuring MercyMe

‘A Little Love’ by Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox featuring MercyMe is the lighthearted tune we all need.

Gary LeVox, who we all know and love from Rascal Flatts, knows just what type of music will put a smile on faces. This lyric video debuts his new song ‘A Little Love’ from his upcoming album, ‘One on One.’

Just like this tune, all the songs on his new album will be centered around his faith. And we thought we couldn’t love his music any more than we already do!

Even though Rascal Flatts was the most awarded country group of the 2010s, Gary felt he had some individual passions he wanted to explore. After mutually deciding to take a step back from Rascal Flatts with his bandmates last year, Gary teamed up with MercyMe for this upbeat, Christian song.

MercyMe is known for its contemporary Christian rock music. This band actually formed a few years before Rascal Flatts started, and has released 18 total albums since! With that much of their music gracing our ears, it’s no wonder they have a slew of awards and nominations from multiple award programs.

The artists’ lyric video features clips of people spreading love after opening with plenty of strangers passing someone in need on a busy street. Later in the video, there’s a clip of another person performing on the sidewalk. BUT this time, a stranger tosses money in their collection.

The best part is when they sing about God’s love and then seamlessly weave some famous words from 1 Corinthians 13.

As we are finally able to see the light at the end of the Covid-19 tunnel, it’s important to spread love and positivity. There are bound to be hiccups along the way to ‘normal,’ but the world can never have too much love.

Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
